Ready to unleash your inner comedian and embrace the delightfully dark side of humor? Cards Against Humanity, the self-proclaimed “party game for horrible people,” is a guaranteed laugh riot. But before you dive into the politically incorrect abyss, let’s make sure you know how to play!
If you’ve never played Cards Against Humanity, don’t worry! It’s surprisingly easy to learn, even if the humor is a bit edgy. Gather your most open-minded friends, prepare for some seriously inappropriate scenarios, and get ready for a night of unforgettable laughter (and maybe a few gasps!).
Understanding the Cards Against Humanity Directions
The game revolves around two types of cards: Black Cards and White Cards. Black Cards contain a question or fill-in-the-blank statement. White Cards contain answers, usually hilarious and often offensive. The goal? To create the funniest (or most outrageously inappropriate) combination.
Each player starts with ten White Cards. One player is designated the Card Czar for the round. The Card Czar draws a Black Card and reads it aloud to the group. Everyone else selects a White Card from their hand (or multiple, depending on the Black Card) that they think best answers the question or fills in the blank.
Players submit their chosen White Cards face down to the Card Czar. The Card Czar shuffles the submissions to ensure anonymity and then reads each combination aloud. The Card Czar then chooses the funniest (or most outrageous) response. The person who submitted that White Card wins the round and gets to keep the Black Card as a point.
After each round, players draw back up to ten White Cards. The role of Card Czar rotates to the next player in the circle. Continue playing until you get tired of laughing, or until someone reaches a pre-determined number of Black Cards (points). There aren’t strict rules about winning; the real victory is the shared laughter!
Remember, Cards Against Humanity is all about embracing the absurd and pushing boundaries. Don’t be afraid to get creative, be outrageous, and most importantly, have fun! So gather your friends, brush up on your dark humor, and get ready for a game night you won’t soon forget.
